Daily Outfit: Frocktober Week 4, Finally!

It may be the end of November but we're still mopping up the remains of Frocktober (what a frocktastic month!)

This is it! Last outfit! Wore to school for Halloween and the girls didn't quite get it. We had a fire drill. There is a cat printed on my dress!

Yay! We did it! We survived Frocktober!

Not sure who the "we" refers to (me and my cat?) but I did manage to blitz a whole month of dress display!

I have been making up for weeks of legs on show by enjoying some pant action of late. Those daily outfit photos to come.

Daily Outfit: Frocktober Week 3, 2013

Almost on the home stretch!

I think it's good discipline, setting yourself clothing challenges every once in a while. Testing different colours, wearing vintage jewellery, applying lipstick every day, or in this case: wearing dresses every day for a whole month.

Let's do this.

Work meetings call for a slightly more subdued look than is usual.

The principal appreciated my snappy dressing.

Even with saucy vintage tights.

Dressed up for FUN at the Michael Jackson/Cirque du Soleil spectacular

Proof of wearing a dress (and some pretty amazing shoes, which unfortunately are near death)

And a sparkly bowler hat to top it all off.

Dressed for warmth as the op shop I volunteer at is a breezy old church hall.

The ladies loved the mix.

Walked into the city with my mother to enjoy some talks in the Botanic Gardens. Roses!

Drove down to Victor Harbor on the Sunday to help our friends pack up from a fabulous wedding in a teepee!

I loved all the fresh flowers everywhere.

Had such a fantastic Sunday with these lovely ladies (all embracing the spirit of Frocktober too, it seems!)

Daily Outfit: Frocktober Week 2, 2013

How did week one's offerings please you? I must admit, doing Frocktober this year after only a few days of being reacquainted with my clothes (I got back from a year overseas right at the end of September) was challenging!


I think I found it easier back in 2011 (You can find the posts here{1}, here{2}, here{3} and here{4})
Sadly, I got rid of a lot of those dresses when I was slimming down my wardrobe in preparation to move to France.
I also think having a set routine (having to dress "appropriately" for work every day) makes it easier.

Bring on Week two!

This red bag has been seeing a lot of (swinging) action lately.

Volunteering at my local op-shop, and trying on some new clothes for work.

This dress is lots of fun but is too clingy for work. Fun only!

I love it when it's so warm, a light cotton dress is all you want.

A Sunday foodtruck festival!

I ended up picking my parents up from the airport wearing this. Surprisingly, they let me through security (but I was "randomly" selected for bomb screening).
