Amsterdam!

I know it's been a while between posts.... you won't believe where I've been and what I've been doing.

I spent 24 hours in Amsterdam and got into the cycling spirit............

I used my internal GPS to find the loveliest park and had myself a little picnic:

And rode past the Van Gogh Museum amongst cherry blossoms. It's Spring in Europe and it feels good.

After cycling past Anne Frank's house, I cruised through the old quarter peering in shop windows and spying on cats. I finally stopped for a drink.

A cheeky little beer to assist my jetlag

And then it was off to Belgium!

More updates soon, I've been on the road for 12 days now yet been through four different countries and played 10 times.

Transit

I'm safe and sound and well-established in Europe yet here are some photos from my voyage......

Sunset approaching KL

Despite not being a gin fan, I found this pretty. KL airport. My brain was imploding.

Greets from Belgium!

Daily outfit: Sequin Cat in Sydney

Meow kitties. I've been trying to stay healthy amongst a hectic touring and playing schedule in Sydney. Here's post 1 of recycling of outfits.

Saturday night!

Hanging out at the (closed) State Library. Before this photo took I saw a giant rat, and after, a homeless man weed near me.

Where would we be without colours?

Hung out with the seals at Taronga Zoo.

Today was an all day rehearsal at Parramatta. I'm a happy chappy!

I went on a sequinned pant quest. They didn't fit.

And here is where I'm blogging!

Apologies for the uber upload, I guess I'll see you all in Amsterdam... or Brussels... or Paris.

European wardrobe

Behold my very limited wardrobe that you are sure to be seeing a lot of over the coming months as I establish roots in France. I am limiting myself to two(!!) skirts, plus the black pants that make up my band uniform. Expect uber-outfit-recycling.

L-R: Red bucket handbag, black vinyl ruched gloves, denim bomber jacket, black tuxedo jacket, black bubble skirt, french blue men's jumper, black turtleneck, black v-neck, patent cherry red belt with pearls, white lace shirt, red knitted scarf, black and white polka dot top, sheer black tank top, white singlet, oversized black flower, black singlet, cherry red pleated skirt, leggings, stockings, boots and black patent lace-up brogues.

Wednesday is D-day as we fly out of Sydney to Amsterdam, then onwards to Belgium and Paris. I'll post where I can.

A bientôt!

Daily outfit: The last date.

The boyfriend and I had our last date tonight. I was too emotional to go to a restaurant so we just had takeaway.

I hid my eyes because I've been crying

Daily outfit: Sequin Cat departs

Sequin Cat says "See you in Sydney!"

Warm clothes for last band practice before heading off to National Championships tomorrow morning. A la française.

Daily outfit: Frenchie going away

Last night I had going-away drinks at a favourite pub to farewell friendly faces that I won't likely see for the rest of the year.

I decided to go stereotypically Frenchie.

Have I hidden my drunkeness adequately?

Thank you so muchie to all my darling friends who came out on a cold Tuesday night to send me off in style.

Hope to post again before Paris.....

Daily outfit: My cousin's 18th

The other night we celebrated my cousin's 18th with curry and champagne.

I wore this dress to my 15th birthday.

Sparkly pompoms!

Have just realised that the print of my dress is a little Romance Was Born-for-Sportsgirl?! A little.

Bonjour blogomondo!

Apologies for my lack of posting lately. I've had a whirlwind jetsetter couple of days and am not sure when I'll catch up on a) sleep and b) my massive to-do list seeing as I leave on Friday (eek!)

Hopefully you can look forward to my forthcoming posts on 24 hours in Perth and 24 hours in Melbourne. I flew through three cities in three days. Crazy! (Especially when you stop and consider how freaking huge Australia is)

As I start my overseas adventures you can expect posting to be sporadic/non-existent but we'll have to wait and see. I hope to settle down (ish) in Paris in May and will hopefully have internet access at home.

Bisous! Thanks for your patience
