Sunday Stumble

Hello wide world!

I hope you're happy and healthy?

Some links to round off your week? Let's go!

75 places so colourful you won't believe they're real: I've visited six!

As we enter the Lenten season (although I'm not religious), I thought I'd link to this blog on monthly personal challenges, goal-setting and gratitude.

Infinite Reasons to be Happy & Hopeful  - clearly Alexandra Franzen is a goddess from outer space. If you're feeling low, click here and be reminded just how good things really are.

Little munchkins dressed as fashion icons.

My friend made me a variant on this Japanese lettuce wrap for dinner the other night and it was delicious!

That'll have to do us for today. I'm still awaiting internet at my new abode, so I don't think you'll be hearing from me often. Not that that's a change from recent activity...

Be well!

Sunday Stumble

I'm feeling a bit stumbly, after yesterday's wedding.

These links aren't new, but maybe you didn't see them first time round?

Great library scenes in films (if I had to be a Disney princess, I'd totally be Belle. French and loves reading? Oui Oui!)
Interesting online courses for creatives (also FREE!)

25 places around the world that look surreal. I love that my dear Iceland features three times!

Perfect for this time of year: Creative and non-rubbish gift ideas!

That Thing I Do: Exposing the world's charming quirks (sometimes a bit vulgar for me, admittedly)

I made Joy the Baker's salted caramel pretzel popcorn this week. Oh my goodness.

Feel free to share your links below!

Sunday Stumble

I'm flying back to Paris tonight! Sigh....

Been hoarding lots of good stuff from around the interwebz lately. Let's share.

Work from Polish photographer Marcin Ryczek. Wow.

I've been feeling strangely connected to nature lately, circle of life style. This evolution blog will definitely make you giggle!

I know Valentine's day has been and gone, but I really like these Wes Anderson illustrated cards!

I agree with this author's number one choice of hottest Disney prince (it's not the Beast BTW, though, that library...)

I'm not really upset at heading back to France. Check out these brilliant pictures of Paris from 1914 (La Belle Epoque)

If you don't appreciate Arrested Development we can't be friends. Lego version even better.

Sunday Stumble

Some fun links to set you up for the week ahead? Righty-O.

This is how books work.

8 year old dresses as a different historical figure every day. Hero!

Charming visual diary of a flight from New York to Berlin.

You probably already know about this one, right?

Text from Dog is pretty great but Louis vs Rick is worth a laugh!

Continuing with the animal theme, cat adopts baby squirrel!

I've lost the plot this week, haven't I? Yay Pusheen!

I might just have to cook this Cuban rice and black bean dish tomorrow.

Things I need to remember: 13 Tips for dealing with a really Lousy Day and 10 Life-Enhancing Things You Can Do in Ten Minutes or Less.

Have a crazy good week, friends!

Sunday Stumble

Let's start (or end?) your week off right, with a round-up of what I've come across this week that's made me smile. A friend did just spend the whole weekend trying to spark my interest in Pinterest (aha!) but I worry it's a slippery slope.

(Not going to be entirely cat links. Maybe.)

Photographer Lori Nix's post-apocalyptic landscapes (found via Make the World a Prettier Place)

Always amazing Joy the Baker has given me brunch inspiration in this Onion and Ricotta Frittata. Also, are you listening to her podcast with Tracy Shutterbean? If not, get on it quicksmart!

Beautiful paper cuttings from French artist Maud Vantours (found via English Muse)

Bad Girls throughout History zine looks pretty bad ass!

National Geographic photography competition winners (also found via English Muse)

Buzzfeed has collected 20 cute bookshelf ideas.

BBC Wildlife Photographer of the Year Winners!

Illustrator Claire Hummel has done a series on Disney Princesses in authentic period costume (found via Visual News

I love Broccoli. Seems like photographer Fulvio Bonavia does too, in his book using food as fashion (found via Beautiful Life)

Not that I'm ever stuck for something to read, but if you are, you might find this site novel (I presume you're already familiar with this one?)

Have a wonderful week ahead!
