Not so Handy

I experienced a whole new level of pain yesterday while chopping up chilli for a papaya salad. HOLY SMOKES! I knew I had sensitive skin, but three hours of burning agony?!

I tried everything: milk, ice cubes, salt, soap, tequila....

I thought I was going to be permanently disabled (hypochondriac, much?)

Thankfully the heat subsided just as we were tucking in to the papaya salad. The verdict? Not a spicy dish at all...
