Wear Colour (End of winter edition!)

Maybe it's because I'm way up north in the snow, but looking at the forecast for Bordeaux where I'm due back at work this week (rain rain rain) I am keen to throw off my winter darks and get involved in a more springy burst of colour.

The clothes are nothing special but I love the spring feel of this shot! Hope to see some cherry blossoms in Japan (did I mention I'm going at the end of April?)

I must visit Monet's garden in Giverny this spring. Probably a good thing this skirt is sold out in my size.

The conclusion? Looks like I'm vibing green and pink for spring (remember that winter's colours were blue and red?) I'm not really sure how these colours suit me so perhaps I'll just admire from afar.

Daily Outfit: Still a bit behind

Hello you!

You all know I'm up above the Arctic Circle, hunting the Northern Lights, right?

Well I had to clear out my memory card the other day (to make space for even more snaps of Icelandic ponies, frozen waterfalls and geysers) and I came across a bunch of outfit shots I'd taken for you in my "home" of Bordeaux.

There probably won't be many (any!) photos of my styling winter wear from this trip, as

1. I haven't managed many selfies, what with Arctic winds and snow everywhere
2. I'm wearing this gross, functional beige waterproof jacket over everything, and tan hiking boots (so, so necessary for the ridiculous amount of snow I have to traipse through)
3. I'm having too much fun to care much about what I look like and taking outfit photos!

Daily Outfit: Serious Business in Paris

I just have to post the whole set of these photos, taken a good month back when I caught up with my sister and her husband in Paris as they were travelling through Europe.

Since taking a break from my job as a high school physics teacher, I have been getting my energy back and enjoying life in the light, fun way that brings joy to my heart once again.

These photos are testament to me being oh so very serious in the Luxembourg gardens. Fun times!

I've fallen a bit behind on the Daily Outfit thing, but I know you wonderful readers will forgive me.
