Oh dear! What a bad blogging break. But guess what? I'm a technological wizard and I finally got my country internet working! Expect much loving.

It got really cold in the Riverland suddenly.



Thankfully this cardigan felt like being wrapped up in a sleeping bag all day. Mmm.

Wednesday Wrap-up

Coming to you live from the Riverland! That's right, folks, I moved to the country on Saturday morning.

Since then it's been adjusting to country living and starting my first placement at the local high school.

Unfortunately I can't get the internet to work on my laptop so I'm not expecting frequent posting. I hope you can all entertain yourself in my absence and know that I'm really enjoying the night sky and still afternoons of a country town.

An inside shot today as my first day at school lasted from 8am to 5.30pm! Phew! I think I'll be making naps (even more of) a regular thing.

We're almost there! This is the last one before I move to the country.


On Friday afternoon I had my photo taken for the paper. I was advised to not wear much black, white or stripes... oh dear. Eventually I found this red dress hiding in the depths of my cupboards.





I look like a French teacher, non?

On Thursday night I dressed up for opening night of my friend's musical. She's a star!



The date continued with dinner on Gouger, drinks at Supermild and then I learnt how to play pool. Woo!
