Wednesday Wrap-up: Today

In order:

I broke the pepper shaker.
I met (most of!) my students for the first time.
I ate sushi that my mom had bought (and a boiled egg).
I looked at somewhere to live, all by myself.
I ran through a spiderweb in the dark, while wearing panda headphones, listening to a podcast about reading.

Daily Outfit: Signature

A combination of red and polka dots is some sort of signature for me.

I also like wearing

• striped tops
• red shoes
• black blazers

It's easy and it always matches.

Spring is a bit fickle with her weather. Some days we're bare legs and tank tops, others (weekends! Boo!) it's back to stockings and a trench coat (sounds very super spy, right?)

I'm back in Adelaide after a whirlwind trip to Thailand (when will the travelling end? Hopefully never!) and ready for some fresh starts.

I started a new novel (American Gods, Neil Gaiman - have you read it?)
I started a new diary (writing in dates for the year ahead makes everything seem real. And manageable)
I start a new job on Tuesday.

I wonder what other beginnings will come my way?
