I know I'm a bit behind the blogging bandwagon on this one (Hello?! Summer colours have been and gone in the Northern Hemisphere) but this image of Diane von Furstenberg's Autumn 2011 show has been bouncing around my brain for the last few days.....

Daily Outfit: After the move

I haven't been taking photos on the weekends lately as we've been busy busy busy moving house. I did manage to find some clothes amongst the many boxes a few weekends back to enjoy "The Arrival", an orchestration of Shaun Tan's book at local theatre Her Majesty's.




Thoroughly enjoyed the performance (arranged by amazing percussionist Ben Walsh) and followed it up with tasty Chinese. Yes!

After the frivolity of birthday times, I toned it down a bit at school the next day.

Here it is! What you've all (patiently) been waiting for!

I did have to teach on my birthday but I thought seeing as it was a special occasion I could get away with a party dress. I also signed a lease on our new place! Most exciting day.

Got changed into something blue and slinky for Indian that evening.




Hot pink satin boots were a hit.

After the previous day's subdued hues, I decided to really overdo things with a bright red jacket and leopard print dress. Oh, and fluorescent purple stockings. And red boots. Hmm.

Although I should be wearing a dress (Frock on a Friday!) I'm going Friday casual for some workshops at school. Gorilla vest and costume skirt were very popular.
